An Ode to Transperth is the outcome of an ongoing process driven project spanning across two artist residencies, at Artsource’s Another Project Space in 2018 and Midland Junction Arts Centre in 2020. Pip Lewi adopts the role of a voyeur on their daily commute, using quick documentation to inform responsive works investigating the idiosyncrasies of passenger culture. Lewi invites the viewer to engage with their surroundings and seek fun, disruptive moments on their next ride in this homage to public transport.
